Leaks of Xiaomi's newest gadget Mi Pad 3 are out.
The Mi Pad 3 will be bigger than both of its predecessors. It sports a 9.7-inch touchscreen display screen with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels at 326 ppi with 4:3 aspect ratio. The Mi Pad 3 weighs only 380g and its dimensions are 239.5 x 164.5 x 6.08mm.
It is powered by Intel's 7th Gen Core m3-7Y30 processor, with 8GB RAM and is available in two storage variants - 128GB or 256GB. It runs Windows 10 and boasts an 8,290 mAh battery as well as a USB Type-C port for charging. A 16 MP rear camera comes with dual-tone LED flash, while the front camera will be 8 MP. The Mi Pad 3 has a full metal build with dual speaker grilles on the bottom as well an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
Whether an Android version of the device will be launched or not, is unclear. However, considering the predecessor, the Mi Pad 2 did have two OS versions so we can expect an Android version of the Mi Pad 3 later.
The device will reportedly be launched on December 30. The 128GB variant would be priced at CNY 1,999 ($289 or €273), whereas the 256GB variant would be available at CNY 2,299 ($332 or €314). The keyboard dock will also be available and will be sold separately for CNY 99 ($14 or €13).
