Reliance May Soon Deliver Jio SIM Card At Your Home.

Since the time Reliance has come out with its Reliance Jio 'Welcome Offer' with unlimited HD voice calling (local and national), unlimited high-speed internet access (with a daily cap of 4GB, after which speed is cut down to 128Kbps), unlimited local and national SMS, Reliance Jio's premium content services, such as live TV, online music streaming, and much more, the demand for the same never seems to cease. All the above services are for free till December 31, 2016. To take full advantage of this offer, there are long queues outside Reliance Digital and Digital Xpress mini stores. Since the supply of the SIM cards is limited in most stores, Reliance has decided to make it easier for the users.

Reports claim that the telecom giant is planning to deliver its SIM cards at your doorstep. Apparently, the company is planning to set up a portal where the applicant has to fill in general information like name, address, alternate contact number, identity proof and address proof. After registering, the Reliance Jio 4G SIM card would be delivered to the applicant's address within seven days. The company has already put this service to test with limited users and will soon make it available in metro cities.

Initially, Reliance was aiming for 100 million subscribers in the shortest possible time. But now, after the response it is getting with the 'Welcome Offer,' Reliance Jio is hoping to make 250 million subscribers.

Reliance Jio has also announced its tariff plans starting January 1, 2017 which start at Rs 19 (per day), Rs 149 (for 28 days) and go all the way up to Rs 4,999 (for 28 days). These plans are available for both prepaid and postpaid subscribers. All the above plans include unlimited free local and national outgoing calls, and unlimited SMS (maximum of 100 per day). The only thing that changes between plans is the amount of high-speed data that you get with each plan,

Also, Reliance Jio also rebranded some of its apps.The online music streaming service Jiobeats is now JioMusic, OnDemand movies is now JioCinema and JioPlay, the live TV streaming service is now JioTV. JioDrive is the company's cloud storage service is now JioCloud. JioJoin, which allows users to make HD voice calls from non-VoLTE smartphones is now rebranded to Jio4GVoice. Other apps include JioMags, where you can download and read all popular magazines, and JioSecurity, an anti-virus app for Android smartphones.

With so many offers from Reliance as well as a door to door service for the reliance Jio SIM card, the Telecomm giant is sure to make its name known in every household of the country. If Reliance reaches it target of 250 million customer base in the shortest possible time, it will the second biggest company in India after Airtel.
