Prisma, the fun and innovative way to edit your regular photographs into artistic ones is adding a new feature to its Android app. Users can now edit photos even when they are offline.
Prisma basically uses neural network process on the image to give it the desired effect. This needs internet connection. However, with the Android app update, the editing of the photos can be done without the need for inetrnet. Almost more than half of Prisma styles are now available offline. Although to download the different Prisma styles, an internet connection is needed. But once the downloading is finished, you can go offline.
The iOS app had already received offline editing support in August. The iOS app can create 15-second videos. Keep in mind though, that the video support requires iOS 10. Just like the images, users can apply filters to the video images and this too gets offline support. Users can either record a video using the app or can select one from their device. The app then processes 15-second videos and edits them to the desired effect. It currently allows the user to apply 9 different filters.
Androids can soon expect the roll-out of the Prisma video support.
