Leaked Images and Videos of The New Apple iPhones.
Come September, as the date for the unveiling of the new iPhone gets closer, more and more news and leaks of the next Apple iPhone are making rounds. As per the latest reports, Apple is rumoured to unveil not one but three new iPhone variants namely iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and iPhone 7 Pro.
A latest video confirms that the new iPhones would not have the 3.5 mm headphone jack. It would be replaced by Lightning-powered EarPods. Another report claims that Apple could possibly be building a Bluetooth chip for enabling wireless headphones with better longevity and less consumption of power.
The new high-resolution video of the three iPhones on YouTube channel Bshop Kuwa shows the shift of antenna bands to the edges, the protective ring around the camera lens, and the absence of 3.5mm headphone jack. There are two speaker grilles at the bottom. The iPhone 7 Pro sports the dual camera setup, but the rumoured is absent. The video also the devices in three colour options : Rose Gold, Silver and Gold.
In another video uploaded by MobileFun, the Lightning-powered EarPods are shown quite clearly. The EarPods work like normal earphones except that they have a lightning connector. This is also confirmed by Forbes which mentions the addition of the Lightning-powered EarPods in the box accessories. However, it also indicates that Apple will also launch new wireless Bluetooth headphones as well (made by Beats)which can be used alternatively instead of the Lightning-powered EarPods. The report also claims that Apple has been working on a Bluetooth chip in-house for many years which began soon after the acquisition of Passif Semiconductor in 2013. This chip will not only make the wireless headphones stay connected to the iPhone for a longer time but also use less power to doing so. The Bluetooth wireless headphones are expected to survive 'all-day'.
The Bluetooth headphones were to be launched last year itself but due to a performance snag the launch got delayed. So, it is likely that we may see these headphones alongside the iPhone launch this year.
Yet another rumour claims that the new iPhone may also be named iPhone 6 SE as there are not many changes made in the design as compared to the predecessor.
Tentatively, Apple is planning to host the next iPhone launch event on September 5 or 6 and users can expect the smartphone to hit the shelves by September 16.
